There is no doubt that the Bay Area is a global hub of innovation and technology. Companies have started touting coding as the new literacy, almost a prerequisite to getting in the door. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projected that 1.4 million positions will be open in computing with only 400,000 computer science graduates—a shortage of 1 million programmers.
Considering that a major chunk of programmers do not have a computer science degree, our aim is to supply talent with entry-level programming skills that would unlock hundreds of thousands of engineers. We are proud to offer the first university-based Coding Boot Camp in the Bay Area. We’re here to give employers access to skills-based, entry-level technical talent. To further equip students for success in the digital age and meet the demands of the workforce, we have also expanded to offer a data analytics and UX/UI program.
Our students currently work with premier companies in the world, from startups to enterprise level: Deloitte, IBM, layer.com, CardCash, and many others. No cost services to employers include:
- Opportunity to participate in guest speaker events, tech panels, portfolio reviews, project days
